Jail Ministry

I will be going to an orientation an my county jail soon so that I can come and minister. I'm just wondering if any of you have worked in the prison/jail atmosphere before? If so, would you share your thoughts on it?Thanks. P.S. If you know of any good resources that pertain to this type of ministry, please let me know.
