The Gospel Has Jewish Roots

Many of us have lost the perspective that the gospel was to the Jew first and also to the Greek. The way many talk about our Lord, you'd never know he is Jewish. You'd think he is gentile. The Bible speaks about an end time gathering of Jewish believers. "What shall the receiving of them be but life from the dead!"Romans 11:15) There is a great blessing in bringing in the harvest of Jewish souls. The problem we have is presentation. Many present Jesus as the God of the gentiles and fail to present him as the Jewish Moshiach, Y'shua. Y'shua is his Hebrew name. He is a Hebrew. It is unfortunate that many have tried to strip the gospel of it's Jewish roots. Paul would never do this. I recommend reading Romans Chapter 11. Ask God to give you a deep appreciation for his Jewishpeople and the Jewish roots of the Brit Hadasha(New Covenant). I feel this subject is overlooked on this message board and in many of our churches yet I believe it is a key to revival. May God direct you to pray for the Jewish people daily.

Missed this one. In fact, there are a number of post's that have no reply's, sometimes they may get bumped off the main board and lost in the shuffle. So take a stroll through the forum archives sometime, you never know what you may find.Mike
