Revival Audio/Video Resources on SI!

One way to create thirst for revival is by familiarizing oneself with illustrations from history. This SI resource section presents audio and video material of men and women who give first hand testimonies of what a revival is like. As the site has grown, the purpose of this revival thread is to provide an easy-to-use "road map" to these types of resources. Further information about the content of these can be found by checking the descriptions where the sermon is listed. We have a great cloud of witnesses, who have proved the Might and faithfulness of our God. Let us say with Joshua and Caleb. We can surely take the Land!!!

I just added "Canadian Revival Story" by Bill McLeod. It's similar to The Canadian Revival (Video) but has some different testimonies. I highly recommend it!

I just received another copy of [i]They Speak with Other Tongues[/i] by John Sherrill (coauthor of [i]The Cross and the Switchblade[/i] with David Wilkerson, [i]God's Smuggler[/i] with Brother Andrew, and [i]The Hiding Place[/i] with Corrie ten Boom). It is a detailed testimony of Brother Sherrill's research into the Pentecostal movement, including interviews with David Wilkerson. The book includes firsthand accounts of various revivals in the UK and the United States.

I read the book as a relatively new believer. I am wondering how I will receive it now as a more mature believer.

really enjoyed the eye witness account of revival in wales 1904.The most memorable bit was the discusion about "The Big Pew" where he describes how they had a big pew where the deacons of the church would face the church in front of the pulpit and also they had two seats one either side of the pulpit.In them two deacons recognised to have spiritual descernment would sit.They were charged with not letting a preacher teach something not in line with scripture.Thats how they dealt with false teaching,

Just thought i would bump this, The conference is close and many are praying, i think there are many sermons and messages here that "inspire" me to pray for revival and long for a moving of God, be encuraged and download some of these sermons and pray we would be first hand witnesses to God moving in our mist again!
