but what sayest thou?

Greetings to all the beloved of the Lord. May I offer the following for our carefull consideration. And may the Lord God of Heaven be blessed from our lives today.but what sayest thou? This question was asked of the Lord after a woman was brought to him who had been taken in the act of adultery. The scripture says they which asked this question sought to tempt HimThis they said, tempting himfor this purpose that they might have to accuse him. Dear brothers and sisters, I would ask you, has the tempter been seeking that of which he might accuse you? at work, at home, or even here?It is written in the proverbs A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. And is it not the same for us today? Let us be reminded again, every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. andIn the multitude of words there wanteth not sinbut he that refraineth his lips is wiseAll grace be yours from our God.
