Jesus came to impart life to us. Life that we could not have attained on our own. In Christ he has enabled us to partake of the 'tree of life' and live forever. John 14:6 (niv) - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 1:4 (niv) - In him was life, and that life was the light of men.1 John 5:11-12 (niv) - And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life , and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.Revelation 2:7 (niv) - He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
