I am in the process of reading the book: "William and Catherine, the Life and Legacy of the Booths, founders of the Salvation Army " by Trevor Yazley. I am finding it a fascinating read.Apparently, they accomplish much for the Lord during the 1800s in England. Now my question is: what has happened to the Salvation Army in England? Are they still evangelistic? In the USA we do not hear in the of any great workings of the Lord in Great Britan today....Here the Salvation Army is usually looked on as a humantarian agency more then an evangelistic organization. ginnyrose
